Caregiving Services

Individual Residential Services and Supports

Tender Souls Services will provide 24/7 daily support to persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We provide adults the opportunity to develop living skills through family settings or host homes. Our care providers are chosen for their ability to provide a supportive, safe, caring, and comfortable home for our clients. If you want to become a caregiver for your own family member, or are interested in being a host home, please contact us.


Homemaker Basic

Tender Souls Services will provide Homemaker-Basic services designed to support persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities who require assistance to manage basic household tasks necessary to live as independently as possible in the community of their choice.


Homemaker Enhanced

Tender Souls Services will provide Homemaker-Enhanced services that allows the person with an intellectual and developmental disability to receive support with household tasks necessary for the person to remain healthy and safe in their home. Enhanced Homemaker Services consist of the same household tasks as described under Basic Homemaker Services with the addition of either habilitation or extraordinary cleaning provided by a qualified homemaker.


Community Connector (CC)

These services are designed to support our individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities opportunities to build relationships and natural supports in the community, interact with community members, promote safety and independence, and work on personal goals. Tender Souls Services will utilize typical community settings as part of the CC learning environment. CC services are provided on a one- to-one basis to maximize the learning environment and can be provided as a one-time occurrence or on a recurring basis.


Supported Community Connections (SCC)

SCC services are much like Community Connections but with added support for our individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Tender Souls Services looks for opportunities to for our clients to build relationships within the natural supports of our community. This will allow our clients to interact with community members, teaches safety and independence, and will help us to allow them to work on personal goals. Tender Souls Services will utilize typical community settings as part of the SCC learning environment. 

Tender Souls Services will provide individuals with experience accessing their community competently, confidently, and safely; SCC will provide individuals the opportunity to plan, choose, and learn while accessing their community.


Mentorship

Mentorship services are designed to support individuals to develop self-advocacy skills. Service delivery may include providing exposure to community environments and experiences, interviewing potential providers or generic support professionals, and assistance with participation in other community events or programs. Also, assistance may be provided to our clients to help them understand complicated health care systems and safety issues. For individuals who become parents, training may include child and infant care.
